Terms and Conditions

1. LAYOUTS AND COPY. Instructions and rough mock-ups are welcome with the understanding that unless camera-ready copy is given, layouts and cropping are at our discretion. Copy must be clearly typed or printed. We cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from ambiguity or illegibility of client's instructions.
2. ORIGINALS. Whereas every care is taken, neither Final Print nor its agents shall have any liability for loss or damage to transparencies, photos, artwork, etc., other than for the replacement cost of the basic tangible materials not to exceed $12.00.
3. STORAGE OF WORKING FILM. Negatives are normally kept on file for 24 months. Although these negatives remain the property of Final Print, they are available for reprints. Final Print shall not be liable for loss or damage to such materials which are retained and stored only as a gratuitous courtesy to client.
4. COPYRIGHT. The client shall obtain all necessary permission to reproduce the artwork/photographs and shall totally indemnify Final Print and its agents from any claim arising therefrom.
5. OVER RUNS. Whereas we print at least a 10% over run on custom printed orders, due to the waste factor of printing, cutting and wrapping, we may have an under run not to exceed 10% and that shall constitute an acceptable delivery. Shortage will be handled on a prorated basis only.
6. CANCELLATION. Any order canceled prior to being printed is subject to a charge of 50% of the total price of the order. No changes can be made once an order has gone to press.
7. CORRECTIONS. Corrections to a completed order must be requested within 48 hours of delivery/receipt. Any order to be redone must be returned in full before adjustments can be made. Redo's will be performed to the specifications of the original order. Any changes are subject to an additional $15 fee. NO REDO'S WITHOUT PAYMENT IN FULL.
8. TURNAROUND TIME. Please allow 5-7 working days for headshots and 2 weeks for business cards, postcards, fan-cards and composites. Allow an additional week for custom orders. Digital color orders typically take 5-7 working days to create a proof, and an additional 3 working days to complete once proof is approved. Allow 2 weeks for 4 color press with UV coating. Photo orders typically take 3-4 business days to complete. Add 2-3 days for backprint/overprint.
9. LIABILITY. Whereas every effort is made to meet our anticipated delivery dates, Final Print can not be held financially responsible for damages, loss of income or any other expenses incurred due to any and all delays. All agreements are contingent upon strikes, accidents, acts of God, material shortages, equipment or material breakdown. Should a printing error occur we have first right to re-print. All matters of dispute will be settled by reasonable objective standards of the printing industry.
10. REFUND POLICY. In the event that the product is not satisfactory to the client, Final Print reserves the right to rerun the order to correct the problem, but there are NO CASH REFUNDS.
11. NON-COLLECTION OF ORDERS AND ORIGINALS. Orders or originals not collected by client within 30 days from date of order, whether paid for or not, may be disposed of at the discretion of Final Print. Clients are still liable for any balance due.
12. LOGO ACCURACY. If logo is not supplied by client, Final Print will not be held responsible for accuracy of logos on file.
13. COMPANY IMPRINT. will be added at our discretion unless otherwise advised.
14. COLOR ORIGINALS/QUALITY. Final Print cannot guarantee the color and/or tonal quality of any reproduction. We follow "The Printing Industry Standards" for quality. These standards are as follows: When an original is reproduced, the reproduction will "NEVER MATCH". You may see a density variation of no less then 10% or more than 25%. This depends on the quality of the original (If the duplicates were to match, they would be considered originals.) Black spots and white paper flakes may also occur during this process. Unless a Matchprint is ordered, color is not guaranteed to match.
15. BOUNCED CHECKS. Any bounced checks will be subject to a fee of $25.00 in addition to the amount of the check in question. Collection fee and consequential damages will be charged to client.
16. ONCE A PROOF HAS BEEN APPROVED. Payment in full is required before order will be completed.
17. PMS COLOR. Final Print uses 4-color offset process inks and cannot guarantee an exact match to a PMS color ink. PMS colors can be matched for an additional $175.
18. LAYOUT PROOFS. for Litho orders are available by fax or mail for a $5.00 charge. Proofs will not include photo images.
19. CONFLICT RESOLUTION. It is agreed that any dispute arising under this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration according to the rules of the Better Business Bureau. Arbitration will only be waived in disputes alleging criminal activity or seeking damages.You will not have to pay anything for the arbitration.
20. UNPAID BALANCE FEE. A finance charge of 1.5% will be added to any unpaid balance beginning 30 days after the order was placed.
21. NO EMPLOYEE OR AGENT OF FINAL PRINT MAY MODIFY OR CHANGE ANY OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
